PONY All Stars

Start thinking about PONY All Stars. All Star teams can be formed at each division (e.g., Shetland, Pinto, etc.) from the best players within the division. All Star teams are formed at the end of the Spring season and play in one or more PONY All Star tournaments depending on how well the team does.
All Stars is a fairly significant commitment by the player and the player's parents. Generally, teams will practice 2 to 3 times per week, may enter one or more warm-up tournaments, and enter at least one official All Star tournament. But, if your daughter plays All Stars, she will get significantly more practice and face above average competition.
The official All Star tournaments for 2010 are as follows:
1. Sectionals: June 25 thru 27 at Oak Hill in south Austin
2. Regionals: July 9 thru 11 at North Hays Optimist fields in Hays country
3. Nationals: July 27 through August 1 in Round Rock (Old Settlers Park)
